Wallace Family

Host Family

Matt and Meg Wallace are passionate about ministry, community, and helping people know and love Jesus deeply in everyday life. Matt spends much of his time leading, coaching, and consulting for churches and businesses, and his current pastoral work is with CrossPoint Ministry. Meg is a writer and speaker who regularly encourages and teaches women in church communities. They currently attend Riverside Church in their local community and also gather monthly with a small home church group. Together, their heart is to help people follow Jesus not just through programs, but through real life-around the table, in prayer, in community, and in everyday worship.
Matt and Meg met and were married in Albuquerque, New Mexico, later moved to Southern California, and now live north of San Antonio in the South Texas Hill Country with their family.

For them, the “secret sauce” of Family Camp is the people who make it all happen-from the staff and guides to the meals, activities, and events. Combined with the opportunity for families to unplug together in a beautiful place with a breathable schedule, Family Camp becomes more than just a vacation. It becomes a place where families are restored, faith is renewed, and hearts are re-centered on Jesus.

They are excited to serve as a host family because Family Camp has meant so much to their own family. It’s a joy for them to welcome other families into an environment where parents and kids can encounter the Lord together, barriers come down, and families are reminded they are not alone in the journey of faith and family. The Wallace family includes Matt and Meg and their seven kids, and their life is full, loud, and beautiful. They love adventure days, football games, beach trips, family worship nights, and late-night laughter around the kitchen island. Whether they are hosting friends, hiking a trail, cooking another meal, or folding endless loads of laundry, their goal is for their home and family to be a place where people experience the love and presence of Jesus.
