Dietary Needs
Glorieta offers gluten-free alternatives at each meal with the purchase of a Gluten Free Meal Plan. If you have a gluten-free guest, a Gluten Free Meal Plan can be purchased during registration.
While on this meal plan, the guest will be able to eat the majority of the meal but be given a substitute for anything that contains gluten (i.e., chicken tenders, dinner rolls, pasta).
Other Allergens
While the Glorieta kitchen avoids using any item that contains tree nuts or peanuts, occasionally, items that are served have been produced in a facility producing tree nuts or peanuts.
As we only accommodate gluten-free substitutions (we are not a gluten-free kitchen), guests are able to bring any other items to supplement the meal for their specific allergies or dietary needs. In doing so they are welcome to use the Allergy Preparation Area which has a microwave, counterspace, and fridge.
Disclaimer
As we use shared workstations and storage for many of our menu items and ingredients, we cannot guarantee 100% no cross-contamination in regards to allergens.
Retail Spots & Snacks
Additional snacks, drinks, or Glorieta gear may be available for purchase through Camp Credit or card, depending on the day’s schedule and retail availability. Glorieta is a cashless campus, so families should plan ahead if they want their camper to have spending money.
Family Camp
Our kitchen team works hard to provide high-quality, satisfying meals for families throughout the week. Our staff is passionate about hospitality and creating a welcoming dining experience where families can gather, relax, and enjoy great food together after a full day of activities.

Mealtime Details
Breakfast is a come-and-go continental-style breakfast from 7:00–8:30 AM, allowing families to eat as their morning schedules allow. Breakfast is served in the Aspen Café.
Lunch is also a come-and-go from 12:00–1:30 PM and is served food-court style in the Aspen Café, giving families multiple options and flexibility in their schedule.
Dinner is served in our Family Dining Hall at New Mexico Hall and is offered through serving lines with a hard start time of 6:00 PM, allowing the whole camp to gather together for an evening meal and community.
Dietary Needs
Gluten Free
We are able to fully accommodate gluten free dietary needs for every meal! You can choose this option as an “add-on” for an extra charge through the registration page. If you have dietary needs other than gluten-free, we encourage you to review our menu and bring food supplements with you. There is a “special diets” area in Aspen Cafe where you can store and/or heat food from home.
Other Allergens
Our kitchen is peanut-free, but we realize that’s not the only allergen you could be concerned about. That’s why we’ve listed common allergens next to each meal on our menu.
Gameroom & Snacks
Family Camp guests have access to on-campus coffee and retail spaces, including opportunities to purchase snacks, drinks, coffee, and Glorieta gear during their stay. Camp Credit can be loaded for each family member and used at retail locations, making it easy for kids and adults to purchase treats or souvenirs without carrying cash. Availability may vary by schedule, but Family Camp lodging is designed with convenient access to dining, gathering, and coffee/retail spaces.
Summer Conferences
At Glorieta Camps, we strive to prepare meals that are delicious and provide quality fuel for the body. Most meals are served family-style at the Dining Hall. In addition to the hot meal, cereal, yogurt, and whole fruits are offered at breakfast while a salad bar with a variety of vegetables and fruits will be available at lunch and dinner.
