Glorieta Adventure Camps hires International Staff from around the world to work as Counselors who directly interface with our campers, or as Support Staff to work behind the scenes to give campers a memorable and exciting experience.
They come to camp selflessly to support and serve campers and families with excellence, and to enrich diversity and interest within the Glorieta community as they engage in an exchange of language and culture.
Hardworking team of people who serve camp through manual labor. Support staff can work in Food Services, Housekeeping, Retail, Media, Grounds, or Maintenance.
People who work directly with campers as Conferences Counselors, Activities Staff, and Family Camp Counselors. Counselors may be trained and certified to facilitate activities, be lifeguards, and lead Bible studies.
International staff are offered opportunities to connect and form relationships with our U.S. based staff. At camp they gain valuable career, faith, and character-building experiences as well as improve their English speaking skills. International staff can also encounter American culture through a variety of cultural exchange activities available to them throughout the summer, in the evenings, and on days off. Additinally, their visa allows them to travel the USA before and after their employment term. Internationals are compensated for their work according to their agency requirements. While all jobs at camp are challenging, the people you meet and work with are outstanding – and the experience you have will be unforgettable.
All International Staff work at camp on J1 Counselor or Summer Work Visas through visa-sponsoring agencies.
