The ideal Glorieta volunteer is a Christ-centered servant leader who is relational, hospitable, hardworking, adaptable, safety-conscious, and passionate about helping guests encounter Jesus through outdoor adventure, authentic relationships, and biblical truth. They embrace teamwork, value others, seek solutions, and joyfully support Glorieta’s mission in whatever role is needed.

Summer volunteers must be 25 years of age or older.  If you are not yet 25, we would love to talk with you about considering a summer staff position at Glorieta.

Non-summer volunteers can be all ages, but those under 18 years of age will need direct supervision from an adult joining them in work project or retreat volunteering. These volunteers are considered on an individual basis for project match and camp need.

Summer volunteers are provided with accommodations and meals during their serving session. Summer volunteers are encouraged to join summer and full-time staff in the dining facilities for connection and encouragement at meal times.

Accommodations are coordinated and provided for non-summer volunteers, but meals are not always available in slower guest seasons. Glorieta will attempt to provide accommodations with space for meal preparation when available.

Glorieta utilizes hotel-style, bunk-style, and RV site accommodations for both summer and non-summer volunteers.
