Aaron Scarborough serves as the Pastor of Adults at First Baptist Church Forney and calls Fort Worth, Texas home. His connection to Glorieta’s Family Camp runs deep. His family has attended for nearly a decade, long before he ever stepped into the role of camp speaker. What keeps them coming back year after year is what he calls the true “secret sauce” of Family Camp: an intentional, unwavering focus on the centrality of Jesus. That Christ-centered heartbeat is woven into every part of the experience, creating a space where families can step away from the noise of life and spend a meaningful week growing together in their faith.
He’s especially excited to return as a speaker next summer as Family Camp dives into the Gospels. Teaching on the person and work of Christ and helping families see how the life of Jesus applies to everyday life is something he’s deeply passionate about. He believes this focus will make the coming year a powerful and unforgettable one.
He and his wife Paige have been married for 32 years and are the proud parents of five children. Three are married adults, while their twin sons, Luke and Jake, are 17-year-old athletes who keep the whole family moving. With football, basketball, and track filling their calendar-and with Paige working at the boys’ school and him coaching there-sports have become a full-on family affair. In this season of life, they’re soaking up every moment together, cheering loudly from the sidelines and enjoying the gift of family.
