Steve Jones serves as a Missionary Professor with Hamoreh Ministries, where he helps people engage deeply with Scripture and grow in their understanding of God’s Word. Originally from Houston, Texas, Steve grew up as a military kid and had the unique experience of living all over the world.

When people ask him what makes Family Camp so special, Steve describes it like this: Some vacations are full of fun but leave you exhausted. Others give you rest but leave you bored. Sometimes you spend a lot of time with your kids but miss connecting with your spouse, or the other way around. But every year at Glorieta, Steve experiences something different. He has a blast with his kids, connects with his wife on a deeper level, enjoys genuine rest, and goes home recharged and ready for the year ahead.

Steve is excited to serve as a speaker next summer. He loves helping people connect with God’s Word on a deeper level and showing how pursuing God through studying Scripture can transform marriages, families, and everyday life.

Steve has been married to his wife, Tamber, for 25 years. Together they have six children ranging from college to kindergarten. He enjoys weather cool enough for hoodies but not so cold that he cannot wear cargo shorts. He also loves watching baseball, taking family road trips, spending time with friends, and grilling just about anything.
