Reggie Rice serves as the Sr. Director of the CCV Leadership Institute at Christ’s Church of the Valley. There, he is passionate about developing pastors, multiplying leaders, and strengthening churches. Reggie was born in Seattle, Washington, and graduated high school in Cleveland, Ohio. With many other stops along the way, his journey has shaped a deep appreciation for the diverse ways God works through people and communities.

When it comes to Family Camp’s “secret sauce,” he’ll tell you it’s Hatch green chile – clearly superior to red- but what truly makes Family Camp special is the freedom it gives families to simply show up and be together. With meals and activities taken care of, families can relax, embrace the fun, and create meaningful memories. Through shared adventures, overcoming fears, and opening God’s Word together, teachable moments and deep conversations naturally emerge.

He is especially excited to dig into the Gospels next summer and explore the upside-down Kingdom of God. Jesus invites us to experience true joy and blessing by centering our lives on Him in ways that challenge the values of the world around us. As families embrace these Kingdom priorities, they not only find lasting joy but also bring a glimpse of heaven to earth for those around them.

He and his wife Kristin are high school sweethearts who live in the northwest suburbs of Phoenix, Arizona. This summer, they will be celebrating 25 years of marriage. Together they love spending time as a family with their four kids: Robbie (23), who married Ally last July; Faith (20); Ryan (15); and Katelyn (13). Robbie and Faith have both served on Summer Staff at Glorieta, making Family Camp a meaningful part of their family story.
