Josh Jordan serves as the Family Life Pastor at First Baptist Church in Covington, Louisiana, and is originally from Sulphur Springs, Texas.

For Josh, he believes the “secret sauce” of Family Camp is its unique and beautiful blend of family, adventure, rest, and, above all, Jesus. For his family, camp is a place to grow together, make lasting memories, and have their spiritual lives deeply refreshed by the work of the Lord.

What excites him most about being a speaker next summer is the opportunity to open God’s Word with the families God brings to camp and to witness how God moves through shared worship times. He and his family also treasure the relationships formed at Family Camp: meeting new friends, reconnecting with old ones, and leaving each year encouraged to walk more closely with Jesus, both individually and together as a family.

He and his wife Leslie have been married for 17 years and are raising four kids: Kate (14), Judah (13), and twins John Luke and Jonas (10). As a family, they love competition and staying active, whether it’s football, basketball, volleyball, pickleball, or soccer. When they’re at camp, you’ll likely find them mountain biking, hiking, zip lining, tackling the via ferrata-and, of course, enjoying all the food along the way.
