No. As much as we understand that pets are a huge part of our families, the only pets allowed at camp are service animals with appropriate documentation.  Pets are not permitted on Glorieta property or in any Glorieta buildings. Please leave all pets at home. Seeing eye and service dogs on a leash, with documentation and under the immediate control of the owner, are permitted.

At Family Camp you can enjoy comfortable Hotel-style rooms featuring private bathrooms and your choice between three different room types: our Double Queen Bedroom, Single King Bedroom, or King Suite with a Sofa Bed. Some of our rooms are adjoining, making them a great option for families who need multiple rooms while still staying connected.

Our lodging allows your family to stay close to the main activities while also creating great opportunities for fellowship and community with other families throughout the week. Family Camp lodging also includes access to all of our facilities, spacious communal areas with Wi-Fi and comfortable seating, and more, everything you need to relax, connect, and enjoy your time at camp.

We warmly welcome people of all backgrounds and faiths to join us at camp. While our programming is rooted in Christian faith and we naturally share God’s love through activities, music, and conversations, there is no pressure to participate beyond your comfort level, and guests are welcome to simply observe, learn, and contemplate.  Our goal is to create an adventure-filled environment where everyone feels welcome, included, and free to enjoy fun times together — and hopefully along the way, make new friends and experience God’s love in new and meaningful ways. So, whether you’re curious, exploring, or simply looking for a fun and enriching experience, you’re welcome here just as you are.

No, we do not require any signed paperwork before use of our trail system.

They are welcome to stay with you the whole time, but we will have our KidTribe open! KidTribe is Family Camp’s childcare program for 0-5-year-olds! Open during activity sessions, Bible studies, and other key times in the schedule, KidTribe gives littles age-appropriate fun, adventure, and Bible lessons.

Nope! Church affiliation is not required. Family Camp is designed for individual families who want to get closer to God. Several of our families do come with other families from their community to make the trip even more memorable amongst friends! But all are welcome no matter what. You’ll make plenty of new friends here!

We accommodate gluten-free diets. If you need gluten-free meals during your time here, please let your group leader know so we are prepared to serve you!

We are also a nut-free kitchen. There are items in our retail stores that contain nuts or are processed on equipment that has been in contact with nuts. So be sure to read labels.

If you have other severe allergies, you’re welcome to use our allergy food prep area in the dining hall. There is a fridge and microwave at this station, and you’re welcome to bring items to supplement your meals.

Health and safety are a top priority.  All of our guides carry basic first aid supplies, and we have a First Aid station with supplies. We do not, however, have a medical professional available for guests on site. Professional Emergency Medical Services are close by and can be at our property in a matter of minutes.

Your group leader will know what lodging has been reserved for your group.

We generally average around 25 families (120 people) per session. Our max capacity is ~200 people.

Glorieta Adventure Camps is cashless, but we do offer camp credit for purchase, so you do not have to send a credit card with your child.

You can purchase camp credit in your online account. If you need help uploading camp credit, watch this tutorial.

Please check with your group leader to see what retail times are in your group’s schedule.

The amount you provide for your child is up to your discretion, but we have a wide range of items in the store, like stickers, t-shirts, hoodies, water bottles, and more.

We do not charge any fees to guests who want access our trail system.

We do not have laundry facilities to accommodate large groups at Conferences or Retreats so please plan to bring enough items with you.

We do offer a small washateria 24/7 to Family Camp guests only that is a short drive from the Family Camp campus. Ask your camp leaders for access and directions.

Family Camp, Retreats, and Conferences: Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus, and most major cell providers have coverage. A guest Wi-Fi network is available in most meeting spaces if needed. AT&T users may experience slower service during large group events. While technology is welcome, we encourage guests to unplug and focus on the camp experience.

Kid camps (overnight youth programs): Cell phones are not allowed, so campers can fully engage in activities, community, and the outdoors without distractions.

The health, safety and well being of everyone on our property for any event is our highest concern here at Glorieta Camps. We do our best to provide a safe and healthy environment. However, there are inherent risks involved with adventure racing and outdoor activities. Glorieta provides first aid and medical services to registered Glorieta Campers only, and does NOT dispense medical treatment or advice to race or event participants. A First Aid kit is available at the front desk and many of our staff carry First Aid supplies with them. Glorieta is also not responsible for personal injury to guests due to accidents resulting from participating in races or events, or from recklessness or carelessness. A Glorieta staff member may give medical advice, but it is per his or her personal training, and is only given at their discretion on their own personal behalf – not as a representative of the Glorieta.

In case of extreme emergency, please call 9-911 and then contact your Race Host. In the event that a serious medical event or injury should occur, Emergency Medical Services (EMS) first response teams are just minutes away who are trained and equipped to handle medical emergencies. If the situation warrants, injured or ill individuals can be transported to the nearest hospital in Santa Fe, which is located less than 20 minutes away by vehicle, or only 5 minutes away by Care Flight.

Participants and guests for races and athlete events should park in designated parking lots only. Your race host will give directions upon your arrival.

All ages! From infants to great-grandparents, we have something for every member of your family.

This year we are excited to offer a variety of Signature Adventures designed to add extra fun, adventure, and memorable experiences to your time at camp. We offer both included on-property adventures as well as add-on off-property adventures that can be selected during registration for an additional cost. Designated time slots are built into the schedule so your family can participate in these adventures without missing other camp activities.

You can cancel your Family Camp registration up to 2 months before the start of your session and get a 100% refund.

Event participants are asked to respect all private areas. Please only use the areas designated for your group or event.

Our host families are here to lead workshops full of discussion and practical, take-home skills and tools for parents. They’re also available throughout the week for times of prayer and counsel.

Great! We look forward to having you at camp! Each session of Family Camp has a group of single parents, and we serve all types of family situations and have summer staff specifically assigned to support single parent families as needed.

In the event of rain or lightning, some outdoor activities may be delayed or adjusted for safety. We follow a lightning safety policy, and all outdoor facility activities will be postponed until lightning is more than 7 miles away. We will resume activities as soon as it is safe to do so.

If you need additional towels or supplies, simply place the placard outside your room to request service. For guests staying in 5- or 6-night sessions, a mid-week housekeeping service is also provided.

We want all campers to establish their independence. But if there’s a family emergency, please contact one of the camp directors, and we’ll assist as best we can and arrange a call with your camper(s).

At select times, we provide a hall monitor, a staff member who stays in the hotel lobby and monitors baby monitors for families whose children go to bed early. If a child wakes up, the hall monitor will contact the parents so they can return to their room.

Glorieta sits at 7,500 feet in the mountains, where the elevation and dry climate make it especially important to drink plenty of water before and during your stay. Some visitors may experience mild altitude symptoms, so staying well hydrated helps you feel your best. Mountain weather can change quickly, with cool mornings and evenings, warm to hot afternoons, and occasional afternoon thunderstorms.

Summer temperatures typically range from lows around 50°F at night to highs near 83°F during the day, making Glorieta a refreshing escape from the heat. In the fall, nights often drop into the 20s and 30s with daytime temperatures in the 50s and 60s. Spring usually brings temperatures from the 30s to the 60s, and because winter snow can linger in the mountains, you may still see some snow during early spring visits.

Glorieta weather can be a bit unpredictable. Expect, for the most part, mild mornings, hot afternoons, and cool evenings. One of the greatest things about our area is that there is little to no humidity! It’s not uncommon for an afternoon thunderstorm to arise as well. Our best advice would be to pack pants and a light-weight jacket for the early mornings and evenings. A rain jacket could also prove to be a great thing to have with you.

Medical expectations are outlined below:

First Aid: Glorieta 2.0 does not provide medical or first aid staff for partner conferences. The partner conference is responsible for providing designated medical staff, appropriate medical care, and all necessary supplies. The partner conference must also communicate their medical plan, location of medical personnel, and the contact information of their medical team to Glorieta Adventure Camps.

Emergency Response: EMS average response time to camp is under 15 minutes. In the event of a medical emergency, Glorieta staff will participate in emergency response by contacting the local EMS and assisting with patient care until EMS arrives, as is consistent with the training of the staff available at the time.

Medications: The partner conference is responsible for the secure storage, administration, and logging of their campers’ personal prescription medications while at camp. Locking rooms for medication storage are available upon request.

Health History Forms: Partner conferences are responsible for collecting all appropriate health history forms for all campers and guests on property during their stay.

Medical Care Payments: Glorieta Adventure Camps does not provide medical insurance coverage for each participant or guest. If a guest requires medical attention while at camp, they will be required to pay for it themselves.

Consent to Treat: A “consent to treat” is included in all camper and participant waivers that must be signed before attending camp.

Glorieta Adventure Camps has gone cashless! We accept credit cards, debit cards, tap-to-pay, and, Glorieta Camp Credit at all of our retail locations. So be sure to plan ahead for this by purchasing Camp Credit online, or sending your camper with a credit/debit card to use while at camp.

It takes a minute to set up a Glorieta Camp Credit account, but once you do, it will be quick and easy for your kid(s) to use at camp and for you to control from home.  Please watch our step-by-step tutorial video.

Then all they have to do is walk into our camp store or snack shop, tell the clerk that they have Glorieta Camp Credit and then charge any purchases to their account.
